DELIVERY & SHIPPING INFORMATION
At Moore Electrics, all deliveries are carried out by our own experienced in-house delivery team, ensuring a reliable and professional service from purchase through to delivery.
NORTHERN IRELAND DELIVERY
We offer free delivery throughout Northern Ireland only on all orders over £69.99.
For orders below £69.99, a delivery charge may apply and will be confirmed at checkout.
DELIVERY TIMES
Most in-stock items ordered before 2pm are typically delivered the next working day.
Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, delivery location, and order volume. Larger appliances, televisions, and special-order items may occasionally require additional delivery time.
All delivery times are estimates and may vary during particularly busy periods.
Orders are processed Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.
Please note that deliveries are not carried out on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, or Easter Monday.
Prior to delivery, our drivers will usually contact you approximately 30-60 minutes before arrival where possible.
UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
Selected smaller parcel items can also be delivered throughout the rest of the UK via Royal Mail or Parcelforce.
Postage charges will apply and are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of the order.
INSTALLATION SERVICES
Moore Electrics offers professional installation services on most appliances and televisions for customers throughout Northern Ireland. Our experienced in-house delivery and installation team can install and set up your new appliance on delivery day, making the entire process as simple and hassle-free as possible.
At present, installation services are only available within Northern Ireland and are not available for Mainland UK or Republic of Ireland deliveries.
If you would like installation included with your order, please let us know at the time of purchase in-store, over the phone, or during checkout on our website.
Please note that we only connect appliances to existing suitable electrical and plumbing supplies. All installation services are subject to suitable existing connections, access, and installation conditions upon arrival.
INSTALLATION & SERVICE CHARGES
Integrated appliance installation package – Full installation, door fitting, and disposal of old appliance (including refrigeration units) – £100.
Packaging removal – £5
TV installation, setup & tune-in service – £40
Refrigeration unit disposal – £25
American fridge freezer disposal – £40
Hob installation – £20
Additional worktop cutting for hob installation (wooden worktops only) – £25.
While standard freestanding appliance installation is usually included free of charge across Northern Ireland, please note that installation charges of £20 may apply on selected promotional products.
Please note that in the case of disposal only without installation, please ensure any appliances for removal are disconnected and emptied prior to our arrival.
All installation and delivery charges are correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change.
TELEVISION SETUP & TUNING
Our television setup and tuning service includes unpacking, setup, tuning channels, and ensuring the television is working correctly before we leave.
OVENS, HOBS & COOKERS
We can install most electric ovens, hobs, and cookers where suitable existing electrical connections are available.
Please ensure your current electrical connection is suitable for your new appliance. Appliances over 3kW generally require a dedicated cooker connection and isolation switch, while lower-powered appliances may use a standard 13A plug socket.
Where required, we may be able to enlarge existing wooden worktop cut-outs for hobs (charges apply). Unfortunately, we cannot cut granite, composite, stone, or metal worktops.
Built-in appliance housing must be structurally sound and suitable for the appliance being installed. If existing housing or connections are unsafe or unsuitable, installation may not be possible.
Please note that we do not currently offer any gas installation services.
WASHING MACHINES & DISHWASHERS
We offer standard installation services for washing machines and dishwashers within domestic properties.
Please ensure that water connections, waste outlets, and electrical points are fully accessible and within a suitable distance of the appliance location.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the appliance space has been correctly measured before delivery, including width, height, and depth requirements.
RECYCLING & APPLIANCE REMOVAL
Appliance removal and recycling services are available on selected products. Appliance removal usually includes disconnection and uplift of the old unit where safe and accessible. In the case of disposal only without installation, please ensure any appliances for removal are disconnected and emptied prior to our arrival.
DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order where required. If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues or nobody being available at the property, a redelivery charge may apply after two unsuccessful attempts.
For larger appliances and televisions, customers are responsible for ensuring there is suitable access for delivery and installation. If there are any access restrictions or special delivery requirements, please contact us before placing your order. All installations are subject to suitability and safety checks on arrival.
Please ensure there is clear and safe access to the installation area prior to delivery.
While every care is taken during delivery and installation, customers are advised to protect delicate flooring and surfaces before installation takes place.
We kindly ask customers to inspect goods upon delivery and notify us as soon as possible (within 24-48 hours) if there are any damages or issues with the order.
